Top 3 haircare mistakes



1. Brushing your hair when it's wet Your hair is super fragile when it's wet. If brushed when wet, your hair strand stretches out and will either break Or won't snap back into its original shape. Try to brush your hair before a shower with a wide tooth bamboo bomb or brush. be gentle and work your way from the bottom up.



2. Using heating tools if you're a surfer I'm so sorry to say it. But if you're cooking your hair in the sun most days, it's probably not a good idea to go home and use a hair straightener. Hair is unsurprisingly sensitive to heat, so be kind to it and it'll be kind to you. If you must use a heated tool, make sure to lather and i mean, lather your hair in a quality heat protectant, use a hair mask afterwards and deep condition in the shower.


3. An unhealthy hair diet Yes, you read that right. Healthy hair starts from within. your hair mirrors what you eat. So if you eat a high protein, high healthy fat and fibrous diet then your hair will glow and grow.


Think of it this way: if you're not providing your body with optimal nutrition, why would it spend it's limited nutrients on giving you nice hair? It's focusing on keeping other more important parts of you alive and well.

So, eat some good food, everyday. Stay away from heavily processed food too.



Healthy hair is something we all crave, but it involves a small amount of effort for an endless supply of gorgeous locks! Remember, it starts from within.
